Dan Wells – Formula Renault UK
In his short career Dan has demonstrated through his driving that he is a “huge talent with considerable potential” – Derek Walters, Racing Steps Foundation.
Since his explosive arrival into motorsport, delayed by his exceptional academic commitments, the superlatives have been as numerous as his race wins & pole positions. Instinctive, determined and a real talent have all been used to describe Dan’s racing & aptitude.
Having been pipped to the Racing Steps Foundation drive, narrowly by the 2011 Autosport BRDC Young Driver of the Year, Dan intends to build on his Vice Champion position in last year’s Formula Renault 2.0 UK Final Series with a full assault on the 2012 title.
2011
- Vice Champion in the Formula Renault UK Final Series.
- Part season in Formula Renault UK with Atech Reid GP.
2010
- Class poles & 5 race wins in Formula Ford 1600.
- Signed with Racing Steps Foundation.
- Finished 11th overall in the Formula Renault UK Winter Series.
2009
- Fastest laps & podium finishes in Senior Rotax Max Karting.
